This beautiful mare (Crawford x Bell's Janee) was born in 1988.  Her bloodline includes Jubilee King through multiple lines including, Paragraph, Highview King, Juvina, Agazizz, two crosses to Jubilees Courage and one cross to Jubilee Kings full sister Sentola. Belle also has a strong dose of Linsley. Belle is currently in foal to Canyon of Quietude for an April 2008 foal.  This mare is stunning in person and has shown us just how sweet and trusting she can be....

Tinkerbelle is sired by the wonderful Higuera Bandido and her dam’s pedigree nicely complements his pedigree. Tinkerbelle is mostly Western Working Family with some very good old Brunk and her dam brings in some of the Old Vermont blood and some of the older Government.  What a wonderful, well-built, full-bodied mare with ALL the right moves!  Tink is the rock or our riding horses, she is bombproof on the streets of Norco.  Thanks to Tink and Sam, everyone is well trained and exposed to all those scarry things in the big world that could eat a horse! ;)  And they do it with such ease and confidence that our wonderful Morgans don't even know they are supposed to be scared! 

This pretty, well-built mare has some of the best of the Whippoorwill breeding. Her sire, Whippoorwill Ebony is a well-known and successful dressage horse. His sire line is Red Correll. Black Velvet has three crosses to that grand sire Whippoorwill Duke and is a product of decades of careful breeding. Black Velvet’s pedigree is dominated by the intense Brunk breeding that is behind her on most of the lines. It is well complimented with the Old Midwest lines through Red Correll and others.

Quietude Holly is a rich source of Jubilee King for today’s breeders. Jubilee King is in her pedigree four times in the fourth generation and once more in the sixth generation. His daughter Paragraph, that great producing mare, is in Holly’s pedigree twice in the third generation and once in the sixth, giving her the greatest concentration of Paragraph’s blood in this century.

South River Kohla had her foal by Higuera Bandido on Friday, March 18, 2005 at 4:45 p.m.  She gave birth to a very tall bay filly and it looks like the foal will shed out to a mahogany bay.  Her pedigree name is OGO Higuera de laBandita-meaning, Fig Tree of 'laBandita'.  Higuera is the prefix of Bandido's breeder and means Fig Tree.

T Tyme Sundays Delight is a chestnut Morgan mare from Winterset Cotton x Wests Sweet Sue.  This mare’s pedigree is rich in the old Western Working Family and also has a strong dose of old Brunk and some of the Old Midwest family. The old blood is up very close in the pedigree with her great grandparents being foaled in 1937, 1938, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1952, 1961 and 1963.

Sired by Clarion of Quietude, SSM Mountain Song has his good traits of sense, willingness, athletic ability, correct gaits and balance. From her dam, the beautiful Reed’s Fancy Lady, she brings more Brunk and Old Vermont as well as some Western Working Family and Government lines. Mountain Song is a strong, stout, correct, athletic, sensible mare.

Two-C Sissy Herod is a palomino mare and daughter of T Tyme Sundays Delight.  Sissy is a beautiful addition to our herd, she has been in training the past several months and is turning into another one of our best riding mares.  Many thanks to Sam and her endless hours of love and training.  Sissy has been bred to Canyon of Quietude for a late 2008 foal.  Her foals include OGO Coraz'on del Toro, a 2006 buckskin colt.  Check out Sissy in her riding duds in the Photo Gallery, she looks great!

BlueMoon is a 2004 Chestnut mare and daughter of Quietude Holly.  Bluemoon joined Acorn Morgans as a filly for future broodstock.  This tall, beautiful, correct mare has the wonderul Brunk qualities of willingness and sense.  She will be a grand broodmare and plans are already being made for future matings.
