Acorn Morgans announces a herd reduction sale....
A rare offering of some great old and rare foundation mares are being offered. Take a look at our for sale page, no reasonable offer will be refused. Breeders given first preference to these magnificent lines.
Acorn Morgans is pleased to announce the birth of two Badger FILLY'S this year!
Our first arrival on May 7, 2011 was provided by Sunday (T Tyme Sundays Delight), a very large, well bodied palomino filly with looks and brains! This beautiful filly is sweet, friendly, full of energy and captures the attention of everyone who sees her. I have given her the barn name of Wendy in honor of Badgers owner, Wendy LeGate who I would describe in the same terms. This cross has produced another phenomenal filly who I'm sure will make the working western world proud. This filly is being retained as a future broodmare and riding partner. Picture taken 7-31-2011. Registered name will be AFO Tia Lalo Sun Dawn.
Our second arrival on June 1, 2011 during a new moon was provided by the georgeous Sissy (Two C Sissy Herod) producing a beautiful, long legged buckskin filly. This large leggy filly we call Chloe has wonderful bone and is fully of spunk, but afraid of nothing and curious as can be. She makes it hard to take pictures since she just wants to see too!!! Another phenomenal filly ready to take any discipline by storm. This filly is for sale, private treaty. Picture taken 7-31-2011. Registered name will be AFO Tia Lalo Gold Dawn.

The decision was made in November 2010 and within just a few short weeks we relocated to Arizona. All the horses made the move like the champs they are, but now the unpacking begins. Located on the east side of Phoenix we are currently enjoying perfect riding weather and getting acclimated to desert living. We look forward to getting involved in the local horse community and hearing from our friends. Drop us a line, we would love to hear from you!!! |

It is with much sadness that I tell you Badger, OGO Tejon De Oro Hermosa, is no longer standing at Acorn Morgans. Badger went home to Wendy LeGate. A great deal of gratitude and debt to Wendy for allowing this magnificent stallion here with us. We can't thank you enough for the honor of hosting him.... |

This lovely filly was born on March 25, 2010 as the last Canyon of Quietude foal from live cover, born to the stunningly beautiful STK Black Velvet. Sara has been a joy from the day she made her appearance. She has a wonderful temperment and just wants to please. Of course she is a true Canyon progeny and is the best cross with the old Whippoorwill of her dam. I would love to keep her but as we all know, I can't keep them all.... Sara is FOR SALE by private treaty. I'm very interested in keeping close tabs on her and would entertain possibilities of trades and/or retaining a future breeding. Send me an email or give me a call, I look forward to hearing from you! |

Acorn Morgans is proud to announce the arrival of OGO Tejon De Oro Hermoso, aka Badger, for the 2010 breeding season. Badger is owned by Wendy LeGate of Old Growth Oak Morgans. Current pictures and detailed pedigree and progeny information can be found at http://ogomorganhorses.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=19&Itemid=55
Badger is being offered at stud while in the Southern California area at the introductory rate of only $500.00 (a real steal in my opinion!!). I will be taking deposits ($200) and reservations effective immediately. Contact Sharleen or Wendy with any questions you may have. This young man is every bit as stunning as his pictures present and has the mind and temperment to complete the package. Thank you Wendy for this tremendous opportunity!!!
